Jeniece Alvey currently serves as a Nutrition Advisor at USAID in the Bureau for Global Health, where she contributed to the management of the project SPRING, and is a member of the team for supervising the Maternal and Child Survival Program (MCSP). She has over seven years of experience in global reproductive, maternal, newborn, child health and nutrition. Jeniece provides technical assistance to USAID country programs in Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Malawi, and Guatemala. Prior to joining USAID, Jeniece supported impact evaluation research activities for reproductive health programs in Kenya, Nigeria, India and Senegal and has conducted nutrition research domestically in the U.S. and in Guatemala. She earned her Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
