Angie Brasington is a Senior Technical Advisor for Social and Behavior Change (SBC) in USAID's Office of Population and Reproductive Health, where she provides technical oversight and guidance to the Agency's global SBC flagship projects. She is particularly interested in strengthening community health systems, designing effective and scaleable community group engagement strategies, and forging collaboration with civil society and locally elected governments to improve health and social outcomes. Angie joined USAID in 2016. Previously she worked with Save the Children US for 18 years, leading the Community Capacity and SBC team. In this role she supported a portfolio of global health programs in more than 40 countries. Angie has worked in a range of technical areas including reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health and nutrition.
