Paula Wood brings over 20 years of experience. She is fluent in Spanish, has a Masters Degree from the Elliott School for International Development (George Washington University) in International Development and has programmatic experience with malaria/vector control, HIV/AIDS prevention and maternal child health. Ms. Wood has developed field grants manuals, pioneered procurement process training, and delivered contract management training for InsideNGO and financial management training for Project Managers and Project Directors. She has experience in successful negotiations, conducting research, monitoring contract compliance, and preparing and managing budgets. Ms. Wood currently serves as the Project Director for the Zika AIRS (ZAP) Project a multicounty zika vector control emergency response project in the Caribbean and Latin America. She previously served as the USAID PMI African Indoor Residual Spraying (AIRS) Project Deputy Director.
